Amelia Collins is a 10th grader that has a lot of issues. She is depressed and is very self cautious. She also has very many family problems that can sometimes get too overwhelming. She has two friends, Ashley and Elena that try to be as good of friends that they can and try to be there for her. But they don't know that she hides certain things from them and they think that she just gets a little depressed sometimes like most people.
Harry is the Jock of the school and never really cares about the people around him except for his friends. Him and Amelia never talk but one day something about her interests Harry. They start to talk and he finds out about her problems. He knows that he can help her and believes that there is a light at the end of the tunnel. Harry helps her through the long struggle and becomes the light to her darkness.
