“I’m Zayn.” He said, relaxing into his seat. Every movement he made was full of grace, and Elyse wished she could be as fluid.
“Can I ask you something?” She blurted out, her mind too overloaded to realize what she was doing. When he gave a slight nod she continued. “Why are you talking to me? I mean, I get you wanting to take a seat for a second, but why take the seat next to me? There are plenty of empty chairs in the room by people who aren’t socially retarded.” Elyse wished she could punch herself in the face.
He let out a sigh, suddenly looking tired. “I sat here because you looked lonely.”
