Troubles of 8th grade book 2

It's a month before summer break, and Emi and her friends find out that there is a rumor going around the school about Emi. Emi does what's right, and tells the principal. Emi feels like she did something wrong for someone to start the rumor about her, even though she didn't. Students won't leave her alone about it, but a sweet High school student decided to stand up for her, and tell the whole school that the rumor is fake, and he gets in trouble, but he doesn't mind as long as Emi was left alone. After what the anonymous boy said, everyone started to back down, but still talked about it behind Emi's back. After a couple of weeks, a boy starts talking bad about Emi to her face. Emi yells at him, but he doesn't stop. Emi starts to become friends with the anonymous person, and the anonymous person starts liking her. Emi and the anonymous person become a thing, and all of Emi's and the anonymous's friends are surprised and confused how they are a thing. Emi goes to Ninth grade, and the anonymous person goes to 10th grade still with the rumor going around, but Emi ignores it since it doesn't bother her as much as it did before, and Emi and the anonymous boy stay a couple after high school, and go into college still dating. Emi still has her 8th grade best friends after high school into college. Emi's friends also have relationships with others, but most of her friends don't stay in relationships for long.
