When werewolf Boris was assigned the ungrateful task of guarding a vampire to keep him away from his community, he never expected to fall for the man instead. *** Vampires can't be trusted. Unlike other supernaturals, they depend entirely on blood-preferably that of humans. To allow them to live in Pinewood among humans is inconceivable. Alistair's being plagued by dreams about a certain creature. And someone who could be his Grandmother, but no, she died. He lives in a town called Misfortune, and the Town really lives up to it's name. He's not your typical guy who has issues, and then falls in love in someone who's gonna change his life. Although, he does HAVE issues, he learns to cope with them. But his life changes when the dreams make sense, when the dots connect and he figures out WHAT he is. Love and Mysteries await him. Afzal, a Vampire who's boring as fuck. But that's for the plot. He feeds with his bestfriends, and does nothing but lay on his bed, and ponder about his boring lifestyle. But, when he's forced to go to the CrossWorld University, he realizes that there are a lot of diverse supernatural attending that school. And one guy in particular interests him. A supernatural that's both rare and a bad omen. Afzal can't admit the fact that he finds this creature.. Interesting. Maybe this Town isn't so Misfortunate. The man looked me up and down, his red eyes staring through me."You... Are a werewolf." "So I've noticed" The man scowled, his lips pulling back revealing the sharp fangs nestled between his teeth. I stepped back, startled by the sudden conclusion that formed in my head. Vampire. "Thank you for the clarification, wolf. But I don't need a 'mate.' Especially not a werewolf one." My fear disappeared, and I frowned, anger filling my mind. "What's wrong with being a werewolf, Dracula?" The man turned, marching towards me until we were face to face. Vampires are a highly respected society, and a proud people. I will not stoop so low as to 'mate' with a stupid wolf, just because he says we're 'destined to.' Let alone a male wolf."
