The world Anna knew is gone. Left broken by a mission that claimed the lives of those she trusted most, she runs through the shadows of Europe and Eurasia with little more than a bloodied lab coat, a memory stick, and the pills barely keeping her alive. Memories haunt her at every turn-the faces of the fallen, the weight of her survival. Every step feels heavier, every fleeting refuge more fragile.

When she crosses paths with Knox, a man as guarded as she is, it feels less like salvation and more like a trap. He claims to know more about the experiments that tore her life apart, yet every word he speaks sounds like a half-truth. Their alliance is uneasy, fraught with mistrust and silence, yet Anna has no choice but to follow him as they flee through Athens, Russia, and Madrid, chased by enemies she cannot outrun.

Knox talks of redemption, of making the project humane, but Anna isn't sure she believes him-or if she even wants to. Her body is failing, her mind is splintering, and the pills that sustain her are running out. All she knows is the unrelenting weight of guilt and the fragile hope that maybe, just maybe, she can find a way to stop running and start fighting back.

Phantoms of Guilt is an emotionally charged journey through survival, loss, and the fragile threads of trust that bind the broken. It is a story of resilience in the face of betrayal and the unyielding hope that, even in the darkest moments, there is something left worth fighting for.

I was almost to the door when I remembered the leather jacket I brought. I turned back to the room and just as I entered the most wonderful smell hit my nose. My wolf started to go crazy and I looked up to see a small pale girl with black hair in a bun and pale blue eyes. All my wolf kept saying was MATE over and over again. The room blurred until all I saw was her. She was cleaning up the table when her head snapped up to my direction. Her eyes widened and she instantly bowed her head down and stepped back from me. "I am sorry Alpha Colton I did not know you were coming back." She said shaking in fear. Just then Alpha Andrew walked in and slapped her. "DONT JUST STAND THERE CLEAN THIS SHIT UP!" My wolf sprang forward and I grabbed Alpha Andrews throwing him across the room. I Knew i was on the verge of shifting but it was pointless in trying to calm my wolf. "YOU DARE LAY YOUR HAND ON MY MATE!" I growled then grabbed his head smashing it into the wall knocking him out and turned to my mate. She looked at me with wide frightened eyes and backed away. I knew that my eyes were glowing red and my canines were out but I was pissed and didn't have a good temper. When she stepped away from me again I let out a growl and she instantly froze. "MINE." Charity Andrews is a werewolf who hasn't shifted yet. She is abused and mistreated by her pack for this reason because they don't think she is anything but a worthless human. That all changes when Alpha Colton comes for a meeting. Alpha Colton is the coldest meanest Alpha that many fear. When he goes to Alpha Andrews pack to settle a rivalry he didn't expect his mate to be the packs punching bag. He has been looking for his mate for a long time and now that she is right in front of him he is pissed at what she has gone through.

No one knows her name. No one dares ask. They only speak of the eyes-two different colors, rare and chilling. A mark of death. Of vengeance. A whisper in the underworld: "She doesn't miss. She doesn't hesitate. She doesn't feel." She walks alone through Moscow's back alleys, blood on her boots, the faintest scent of smoke trailing her long black coat. She'd slit a man's throat two minutes ago. Didn't blink. Didn't speak. Just turned and vanished. She's nineteen. But the world thinks she's a myth. And maybe she is. Maybe something broke inside her when she was five years old. When the Russians took her. When they burned her home into memory and carved out the little girl who used to sing lullabies on her grandfather's lap. Now? Now she dreams in flashes. A golden sun. A woman's perfume. Laughter in Italian. Five shadows taller than her, arms wide open. Names, always at the edge of her tongue-but never there. She remembers their faces. And she remembers the man who stole her life. Viktor Ovalov. The Russian leader. The man who turned her into a weapon. He doesn't know she's coming. But she'll show him. She'll make him bleed for every scar he left on her skin. For every scream he buried in her throat. She presses a gloved hand to the glass window of an abandoned apartment. Her reflection stares back-impossibly beautiful, heartbreakingly cold. Eyes covered with dull brown lenses. She's ashamed of what makes her different. Even now, she hides the heterochromia behind colored contacts. Just one more mask to wear. But behind those eyes, behind the silence-she remembers. This isn't a story of sunshine and fairytales. Not a story where she just 'heals' and gets her sunshine personality back. No this is a story where she learns to live again and not just exist or survive. This isn't about healing, it's about living again, revenge and living through your pain. ***this book contains suicidal thoughts and tendencies, may not be appropriate for younger audiences*** In which she looks for the purpose of life. Lily Carter's parents died in a car crash leaving her and Laura, girl was depressed long before her parents passed away and with all the problems turning up now, Lily felt more miserable - if that's even possible. With her journey to look for life's purpose and grab the small pinch of HOPE - which is ironically her second name -, will she finally snap at the pressure and finally end it all? or will a small light lit her darkened world of grief and loneliness? * "So you know. The little goth girl who gets bullied is indeed a mess. There's this mess in her head that eats her alive everyday isn't it? What to do now Kaden? Tell the whole neighborhood and recieve an award for taking out a crazy in this world?" I spit like vomit. His eyes warmed up as I finished, "Lily. It isn't like that" "What is it then? People stopped caring... they gave up, why aren't you?" I fought my tears. "Because I feel the need to care. Did Leigh hurt you? Did she hit you?" he finally noticed the unusual redness of my cheek. I don't like the way he told me he needed to care for me. I felt like an obligation, a responsibility that he is carrying and carrying leads to getting tired and when people gets tired, they give up. I don't want them to give up on me. But they will, so it's good not to make them care for me in the first place. "I never needed anyone. I stopped needing anyone before, why start now?" I uttered the words again. Why? There is nothing to fight for. No mama. No papa. No sister to love me. No one. So why would I waste my life and the time of others to fix what is already broken - and someone who doesn't want to be fixed? If I may add. Maybe I gave up. No, scratch that. I gave up a long time ago - when my parents died, my hope and purpose went away with them.

Nothing left my mouth as I stared at him in shock. He truly believed that I was part of this. The man, who I had lived with and served for months. The man who I had protected with my life and soul. I stood still while, as he backed away from me quickly. "I trusted you with my life." His cry pierced around the empty room. He looked so destroyed and hurt, but mostly his face portrayed rage and determation. "And I protected you with mine." I spoke back loudly. I didn't hear myself say it but I knew I did. I look into his eyes even from our distance they seemed to wallow me in darkness. "I gave you mine." My voice was quiet and cracked. His face changed only for a second before his old one took over again. He doesn't believe me. It doesn't matter what I say or do he won't listen. He will still believe I am the bad guy. Just as Kane said, we will never be equals, we will never be fellow humans. We will always be monsters to them. "Yakov, I am not the bad guy." I plead one last time. His Russian accent comes out harsh with his next words. "Your right," he pauses, "you are the villain." I stumble back as if I had just been stabbed in the chest. It was a horrible feeling. It was never good with the emotions and yet I recognize the feeling as heart beak. I barely breathe in air as I regain my posture. A battle cry from somewhere distracts me momentarily. I suddenly remember Ewan. I glare at Yakov one more time before I take off after the cries of battle. Jade believes she started the war among the human and her kind. Nothing is as it was portrayed. The lies and the truth are hidden among each other. There is is no clear good and evil. How can there be if one does not know what is right and what is wrong. She was prepared to see death, prepared to inflict death upon others without mercy or remose. She was prepared to do her job which the Facility had given her. But now it doesn't seem so simple anymore. Instead she focuses on keeping her friends alive.

[Book Two of The Phantom Saga] PG18+ Status: Completed [November 29, 2021]/Editing In Process "I'm fine" is an automatic response everyone is so used to saying when asked if they're okay. Even a dying person would lie in a hospital gurney and tell their loved one, "I'm fine," just before they're pushed into an Operation Room. A depressed high schooler will tell their friends and families, "I'm fine," up until the point of having life ending thoughts and bringing it to reality. The look in a framed convict's eyes as they're being lead away after a sentencing will tell their people, "I'm fine," although they were given life without parole. What if they had spoken up? Would the outcome be different? Maybe, maybe not. Who knows? Alessia Moskal wasn't dying, she wasn't suicidal and she wasn't framed. She wanted out of the life she was living and she managed to change that in a short span of time. It must have costed her something. However, that something didn't phase her. It was a simple transfer from one cage to the next. She didn't get her freedom, but at least she's not being dragged on a leash anymore. Right, Petro? "Katya Sharpe," he tuts, "I knew I should've searched harder for you..." Sitting on the window sill of his office, she smirks at his remark. The sun isn't as bright as it was before, falling behind a thick huddle of clouds, but the wind whisks through her loose, curly, strawberry blonde hair, lifting the light strands and cascading them over her shoulders. "Yes, you should've." She states, "Nevertheless, you still wouldn't have found me since having your blood on my hands is apparently my destiny." "You won't get away with this." "Yes," a smirk twitches at the left corner of her mouth as she flicks the safety off her pistol, dangling it in the light, "Yes I will." Warning: The WHOLE story MAY be triggersome. There is graphic content, abuse, violence, sexual violence, strong language...etc. If you can't handle any of those things, shy away from the book! Thank you ************ Excerpt: "You know, wouldn't it be fucked up if we were mates?" My face scrunched up, not only in disgust but worry about where he was going with his question. It would be the worst thing that I could imagine. There was a chance that if we were mates that he would lighten up and become the loving mate the moon goddess would have intended but that was a very slim chance. "Do you know what I would do if we were mates?" I shook my head; I didn't just mean it as I didn't know but I didn't want to know. He would probably reject me in the worst possible way he could think of. Or he would use the bond against me. I was already his slave but maybe there was something else that he could do that my innocent mind just couldn't conjure because I wasn't anything like him. I held my humanity close to me as if it would save me in the long run. I refused to be anything like my tormentors and I kept as true to myself as I could. He turned his body towards mine and I could see he was smirking at me but I got a bad feeling. "I would fuck you as hard as I possibly could and then I would kill you. You don't deserve to be a part of this pack but we need slaves just like any other. You truly disgust me and I hope that whoever your mate is rejects you. You're a sorry excuse for a she-wolf."
