After the defeat of Monarch, everyone was happy, even though, Marinette didn't find the miraculous of the butterfly. Marinette and Adrien are a happy couple and go out or spend time together almost all the time. After the battle, Luka returned to China to complete his guardian train with Su-han. He's coming back today and that's where the storyline starts.
Ps. Alix is back since there is no danger of Monarch. But she still has the miraculous in case of emergencies.
