Izuku was bullied for most of his life for not having a quirk because of this he found solace in video games where he could be someone powerful. One day after a particularly awful confrontation with his one time friend Katsuki Bakugo Izuku developed a quirk. It changed his appearance and gave him the ability to copy quirks. His mother however hated his appearance and sent him to live with his father.
