2 teens, 2 separate lives, and 2 words linking them together without them even realizing. Each chapter will be electronic messages of anonymous teenagers, one boy and one girl, and will share dark themes and a ton of realistic mentionings of mental health disorders. The anonymous girl will figure out who the boy is and the messages get deeper as the two connect through their battles. Both teens will fight the battle 30 million people of all ages and gender battle in the U.S. ALONE. STORY MEANT TO RAISE AWARENESS IN MENTAL HEALTH DISORDERS, NOT TO GLORIFY THESE ISSUES. Saving Isabella
Isabella's life has been anything but easy. At 14, she's already endured more than most. Operation Skinny ✔️
Phoebe's always hated her body. She never thought she was good enough to blend in with her classmates. And now, at almost 200 pounds, she decides to start what she calls 'operation skinny,' with one goal in mind: to shed the weight. She marks her wrist with the letters 'N' and 'O' to remind herself of the self-control she seeks. Her only friend is very concerned because he doesn't want to see her falling down a very unhealthy rabbit hole. But Phoebe doesn't see a single thing wrong with her actions. That is, until she finds herself waking up in the hospital bed with no recollection of how she got there. Anorexia. Something nobody believes could ruin them until it's far too late. Ivy is infected with the thoughts of anorexia. This is her story as she gradually loses herself to her mind. This story is meant to remind people of the reality of anorexia, it is a glorified disorder that is truly horrific and it takes the life of many people every year. If you or a loved one is struggling with an eating disorder get help immediately. The longer it goes on, the harder it is to get better and the more likely it is that you or they will die or suffer long term complications.
