Eldest, Middle, and youngest children of families are separated into separate blocks of land, where every night a new task is set for them to solve. Inevitably torturing.

The Eldests: Leadership and consistency, each with different personalities that define them. Trust is their closest friend. Honesty is their foe.

The Middles: Fairness and rationality, each with the same personality that defines all of them. Honesty is their closest friend. Trust is their foe.

The Youngests: Manipulators who find necessity in persuasion to form a united regimen. Honesty does not exist. Trust is a fool's game.

To test their minds, to play a game, and to toy with their minds till they break and become useless. Only the ones who survive will take a test of faith to prove their usefulness to the government.
Except, this was all before the government became corrupt, brutal, and destroyed. Now, they fend for their lives, whilst monsters have grown on the outside upon their escape and want to tear at them for their difference.
To tear them for being protected inside the blocks when the players themselves thought of it as Hell.
What has happened on the outside, still remains a secret, other than what the people have now become.

The Eldests have driven to insanity with relentless expectations. The Middles descending to madness from isolation. The Youngests have stolen it all, crushing it in the palm of their hands.

Yet, none are the villains.

The whole camp was filling with smoke. I coughed, praying that my lungs would keep working for just a few more minutes. "Eli, which way is west?" Adam's breathing was just as labored from physical exertion, smoke, and panic as mine was. I didn't even process the question. I didn't know. We couldn't see anything through the smoke because the fire was spreading so quickly, and I just realized I'd forgotten my walkie-talkie. "Don't know!" I answered. Adrenaline was the only thing that kept my feet going. I knew we'd come in the East Gate, and if the cells were in the center, then if we kept going straight, we were going to find the gate any second. "Keep straight!" I instructed. I saw his head bob slightly, acknowledging my delayed direction. Then Adam cried out beside me, and I stopped short. I reached for his body involuntarily as he pitched forward, nearly causing him to take me down with him. My left hand was soaking wet from where it had landed on his shoulder. I winced as I tried to steady him, not daring to look at what I knew would be a pool of blood in my hand. ☁ Now that they have a new ally on their side, they're looking to change the United States for good. At some point, they want every camp freed and every teenager home safe. But each new camp brings an endless supply of new challenges. Things are beginning to spin out of control. Follow each of them as they discover who they are, who they love, and more of their country's secrets than they could ever dream of in a thrilling trilogy told from all five points of view.

100 years ago, amidst WW3's nuclear bombing, a deadly virus was released in the atmosphere and nearly wiping out the humanity. It lives inside the human brain thriving on the empathy receptors, leading to irrational behaviour and ultimately brain death. To slow the damage, scientists created L.O.V.E, short for Living Off Vital Emotions, a nanovaccine that numbs the virus and switches off all strong emotions. As a last resort and with a dying planet, the Supreme Government created the City, a place to contain the infected survivors suitable for the experiment. Those in the first stages of illness became ideal candidates to receive the neuroinhibitor. Having their feelings restrained and their memory altered, those who come of age are designated a life partner through a Selection process, thus preserving the humankind. A few decades after the trial had started, scientists had a major breakthrough. The nanites, which are highly chemically reactive organisms, are changing their bio-engineered purpose when dopamine levels are high. With a new generation of nanoids, stronger and smarter to fight the battle, the virus doesn't have a chance. Many attempts were made to create a man-made version of synthetic dopamine and each time the outcome was a disaster. Their goal is to create new generations, immune to the virus. These are called Purebloods, the offsprings of those who find pure love, the only cure to save them from a violent death. Running out of time, the Experiment entered in its final stages. To minimize the threats, the Colonies have sent their best soldiers to oversee the trial and protect its key subjects. If only things were going according to plan, or better...stay hidden. With Iron Guard, the resistance outside the walls, hunting the Purebloods too, will the trial save human race before it's too late? #3 in #dystopianfuture (27.06.2020)

I only had one chance. ____________________________________________________ Where nations are now out of control with the sudden rise of population and the demand of essential items and access to shelter, the government needed to take back control of society. So all the major powers of the world joined together and after a long ten decades of suffering, came to a conclusion; Resdue. Which was basically an acronym of saying 'death test'. Two students from each individual high school in either grade eleven or twelve would be chosen by the principle and teaching committee to be sent to the Resdue Test. You were supposed to rely on your partner and was forced to as if one partner were to die, you would join them in death. The world will never be the same again. Everyone is fighting for their lives in a divided region. A group of scientists accidentally create a new disease that threatens a mass extinction event for humans, and only a small percentage of the population is genetically immune. As the rest of the population begins dying off, world leaders in this dystopian hellscape start gathering those who are infected in an attempt to isolate the virus. Those who are immune form The Society and go on the run in hopes to find a hiding place away from the rest of the world. Ghost, an immune, escapes from The Shelters and runs into Frostbite, an infected teenager. Ghost believes that his father, head researcher of the LeVon Institute, was close to finding a cure but is murdered before he does. As the disease continues to spread, a timeline is placed on Frostbite's life. Will they find the cure in time to save people's lives? Or will The Society be the only ones left standing?
