"Bitawan mo ako, Carter! Please...nasasaktan ako," she cried.

Higit kailanman ay alam niya kung gaano kasakit makita ang lalaki na nasa harapan niya ngayon na kasama ang iba't ibang babae buong magdamag. Ni hindi niya nga ito makita sa paggising niya hanggang sa siya ay makatulog sa kahihintay.

"Shhh... there, there. Sabi ko kasi sa iyo huwag mo akong suwayin. Alam mo kung gaano ka kahalaga sa akin, Emmanuelle. Tara, let's go to my room," iyon na lamang ang nasambit ni Carter sa kanya habang nakayakap at hinahaplos ang kanyang ulo at likod.
