Alone Keeps Me Safe

Samantha (or Sammy as she is known by her friends) is mildly autistic. She has never been diagnosed but she knows, as do her parents, that she is. It is hard for her to deal with and makes her look at the world in a different way to others. She is very bright but feels excluded from her class and finds it difficult to make friends. Her life is generally fine (or a fine as it ever is for her) but when after the best night of her life something goes terribly wrong, she is never the same again.
