We both yell simultaneously. I'm in a state of absolute denial. This is a catastrophe.

"I'm sorry to inform you, but our hands are tied too. I understand your conflicts, but you need to work together on this one," the in-charge informs us with an apologetic smile.

This is all a messed-up situation that I need to get out of as soon as fate allows.

Rose is in the middle of giving a lecture when there is a violent knock on the door and Hades enters abruptly, boldly and rudely disturbing her lecture.

_Not again_, she sighs internally but keeps her expression under check.

She had been preparing a rather insulting speech to give him , having had enough, but the look of absolute misery on Hades' face halts her train of thought. Hades goes straight to the board and writes "SELF STUDY."

She is in the middle of observing his puffy eyes and less-than-professional causal blue jacket and jeans when he comes straight to her, takes her wrist, and turns to leave the room.

They walk-or rather, Hades drags Rose straight to his office and pins her to the door after abruptly closing it. He holds her shoulder with a bruising grip. If looks could kill, Rose would be 5 feet underground now.

I am jolted out of my flow of thoughts as I feel something soft on my lips. Upon opening my eyes, the sight before me feels like a dream I simultaneously wish would never end and long to forget. Rose is kissing me. Get a hold of yourself Romano. She's drunk.

My heart feels like it could jump out at any second, and I feel as though my body has been struck by an electric shock. She pulls back much sooner. Leaving me wanting more.
