He can't hear.

Wendell Conley is trapped in only the noise of his mind. Being deaf comes with difficulties that's for certain, but when he meets Dove Harper, he suddenly wishes more than anything to be able to hear her voice which must belong to an angel.
Through her, he finds himself discovering peace in the overwhelming silence of his world, as well as learning there's nothing that can hold you back from the joys and adventures of life.
Through him, she finds a confidence she never knew she had, as well as the will to keep pushing for a better future, putting the past behind her.
But as they both start falling hard and fast for one another, their pasts and internal struggles begin to get in the way of the beautiful melody they've created.
He can't let go of what he can't have. Or can't hear.
She can't let go of what she's lost. Or the fear of what she could lose.
Together, they go through the mountains and valleys that come with the journey towards finding peace, strength, and perhaps the riskiest of all: Love.
