Only when Mandy learns Akkadi’s secret and walks away does he realize he’ll do whatever it takes to keep her – even if it means losing his war.

The Republic must call on one of the best performing units at Geonosis, the 217th legion; led by the resilient Commander Frost, alone. The 217th is most famous for its lack of Jedi general in its first deployment. There is a catch to this operation though, for the first time in the legions existence, they will have a Jedi general. There is also more to the native population than intel gives them credit for...

Ezra thought his grades would get him posted to a place in the Navy that reflected his ability, something like First Fleet, the Raiding Nine, or even Home Guard. Humanity's enemy the Preshk where attacking more often and Ezra wanted to be contributing directly to the war effort. The mission quickly becomes more than the young commander could have ever expected and the fate of humanity lies in how fast he can return back to humanity. This short story is just over 18,000 words and contains sexual content between two men, so If that's not your cup of tea.. don't read :) This is my first attempt at something like this, so feedback is welcome, though be nice :)
