Everyone has had that one guy who they never really made it official with but, you were practically together or like a situationship, talking stage you name it. This poem is for when a person is in denial. They're contemplating the fact that you hate or love them. Deep inside you are attracted to them but you are well aware of the fact that they are there just for fun and nothing more. Moreover, your significant other isn't exactly your ideal choice or your type but you still grow to have an intense liking for them, even they you lowered you standards for them, yet you are the one hurting.
This poem was written on 7th April when I was Yearning to hold that one guys hand and talk to him after we went no contact, but all I could do is write this poem as sacrificing my self respect yet again wasn't worth it.

I used to think there'd be no living without you. Then, you walked away. Like it was the easiest thing in the world. We finally stopped making sense to you. So, you left. Why wouldn't you. It didn't matter that it still made sense to me. That I still held on to all those what ifs and unanswered questions of us. Still hoped for things to work out somehow. Still needed things to work out. Needed it like food and water. This story might not make much sense to you, reader. It was written for him. And in many ways for myself. spencer, i'll remember how i'd loved you. even after i saw the hate behind your sweet eyes and messy statistics. even after i heard casually cruel words leave the same sugary lips that you used to plant soft kisses on my cheeks. even after i saw you kill right in front of me. the loss of your presence would still hurt the same. it probably wouldn't even matter what you did or didn't do because at night, i would still be crying into my pillow about everything that happened to you regardless. that's another thing that hurts so bad about this all. your loss. it's obvious, i know that. but i feel so alone. and you're actually gone this time.Complete

This is a series of poems about a woman i was once in love with long ago. Everything was sweet like strawberries at first, but deep down she was just using me as a rebound to get over a broken heart she has. We met in a speech class one semester, I couldn't talk to her, I shyly had someone else to talk to her. long story short, I should have got to know her like should, because she judged me for what had and didn't have. i loved her so much that I knew that she was cheating on me and wanted her to stay, but God removed her out of my life. she done so much wrong to me, but love her even of all her flaws. Ice To Meet You
"What else do you want me to say, Mia?" "Did you mean it?" There is a pause and I just-I feel exhausted, the kind that 12 hours of sleep hasn't been able to fix. "Hannah said I don't deserve to be loved, is that how you feel too?" She might not have said it in as many words but that's exactly what she meant. He takes my hand in his and kisses it. "Between the both of us-it's I who doesn't deserve to be loved." "Too bad you already are." "Please stop saying it!" he may not have screamed the words at me but he might as well have. "You think I am lying?" He holds my face with both his hands and looks deep in my eyes. "Mia, I will say this for the last time. I don't do love.
