Even though he wanted more power, GE knew that he couldn't afford to lose the war. AH was still annoying him with it. Serbia killed his archduke and it made him frustrated. A couple of days after, AH came back to GE's house with a stabbed, claiming that the person that killed Franz, did it to him. GE finally agreed to start the war. He couldn't let anyone hurt the one he loved.
At the same time, in the same house, lived GE's 13 year old son, Weimar. He was struggling with schitzophrenia. His hallucionation was his only friend, because of his father's strict rules, that didn't let him leave the house. His friend wanted the kid to help him with taking over the world. Weimar already knew that his father would let him in a lot of dept, after the war he's getting into. So, he wouldn't have money for the "Take over". (Why did I write all of this?)
