Scotland's scared that Yorkshire is going to disappear.
England took everything from her during the War of the Roses, but she was the main target during War World 2.
Scotland can't become independent without his brother and sister becoming one country, like Veneziano and Romano have.
Overall... he wants to fix the issue of his sister being one of the most unrecognised in the world.
(I know that Yorkshire is apart of England, because I live in it. But I also believe that if Yorkshire was in Hetalia, they would be a faded country... well, almost. Scotland and Yorkshire share the city of Doncaster, which would be the only reason they wouldn't fade away. Just forgotten.)
