She felt the hunger that broke her bones and saw her father's wrath. She is a monster, a demon like those creatures that lurked in the night. Her blood is black and vile.

A girl who believed in the light, despite her parents' cruelty and hatred. Sold into slavery, she realized she would never see her family again. A cruel and unforgiving world showed her what friends can be like. Sometimes, the closest ones plunge their blades deeper than the enemy standing beside you. When love condemns the last rays of sunlight to darkness and evil extends its hand, you can no longer choose which side you want to be on.
