[Humanity left Earth after they ruined it millions of years ago and now inhabit the planet Sylvestia: a planet much like Earth but with more vegetation and wildlife. And so much more.] Zuri (Luna Zuri Palms) was born and raised in Memori; a small tree village based in the jungle. She is nearing 16, the age at which her body will be strong enough to harness her power. But when no power appears and Zuri is banished as a Shard (stain in the bloodline), her whole world changes.
