In a world where unrequited love manifests as a beautiful but deadly disease, SMG3 finds himself caught in the throes of Hanahaki. Hidden behind his usual bravado is a heart aching for SMG4, his best friend who only sees him as a companion. As SMG3's feelings intensify, so do the symptoms-coughing up delicate flower petals, as he was indeed, cursed by love.
SMG4, unaware of the true nature of SMG3's suffering, grows increasingly concerned about his friend's declining health.
As the petals continue to bloom, SMG3 faces a heartbreaking decision: risk confessing his feelings and the possible rejection that could make his heart stop beating, both heartbroken but also about to die. In a tale filled with emotional turmoil, deep bonds of friendship, and the painful beauty of unrequited love, the group must navigate the delicate balance between love and loss.

Hanahaki Disease is a fictional disease in which the victim coughs up flower petals when they suffer from one-sided love. It ends when the beloved returns their feelings (romantic love only; strong friendship is not enough), or when the victim dies. It can be cured through surgical removal, but when the infection is removed, the victim's romantic feelings for their love also disappear. Henry didn't think he'll be coughing up flowers for someone, but after falling in love with someone that he knows will never return his feelings...until one day, he coughed up a flower. This is caused by the patient dealing with unrequited love, it happens rarely and only with true love.. Junhui does indeed cough up the blue primrose petals from time to time, Joshua's favourite kind. They suddenly stop by the time he had started coughing up the individual petals of 3-4 Primroses. Junhui is happy, with himself and his beloved who seems inclined to stay by his side. One unfortunate night and they are back again. Way more vigilant in their stance this time.
