Victoria dreamt of a love pure and bright, a love that bloomed eternally. But fate, a cruel comedian, trapped her in a perpetual July - the month her love story turned sour. Unable to move on, she clings to the remnants of a happiness that no longer exists, her heart a wilted rose, forever locked in a summer that never ends. As the days blur and the memories sting, Victoria must confront the suffocating grip of the past and choose: wither away in her July prison or find the strength to bloom anew.

A voice asked. "You'll catch a cold, why didn't you take your jacket?" I spun around, and my eyes locked with Marcus's eyes. "Hey," I said, my voice a little trembling from the cold, and I wrapped my arms across my chest, my shoulders stiffening. I had not expected that it would be so cold. My fingers dug into my sleeves, and I shifted my weight from one foot to the other, trying not to shiver too obviously. Marcus didn't answer right away. He just looked at me for a second, then stepped forward. Silently, he slid off his jacket and placed it over my shoulders, and I ensnared it tighter around me immediately. It was still warm from his body. The inside smelled... citrusy?
