After a few not-so-funny 'pranks' go a bit too far, Max's father decides he needs to work off his debt. He finds him a job doing chores for an upperclass family, as his father feels it will "keep him out of trouble", but the trouble only begins when Max starts to take a liking to the family's oldest son, Bradley.

The thought of opening up genuinely scares Bradley. He masks his fears and flaws behind his facade, which proves to be difficult when he develops feelings for the new yard-boy.
