Max Payne, a 27 year old ex NYPD detective and DEA agent turned vigilante after his wife and daughter were brutally murdered by a bunch of druggies under the substance named Valkyr. His revenge eventually got put to an end as he got fatally shot and sent to Hell. To add onto his misery, he meets the I.M.P. crew in pure celebrity fashion after pulling a stunt that made him popular in Hell. He now has a new mission in mind. To survive and reunite with his wife and daughter while battling his own burden and chains of misery.
