A tale of a poor boy's journey to happiness and love...

I lay upon the dew covered meadow, the breeze blowing at my curly bangs. Despite the hair in my face, my amber gaze falls onto night sky. Tonight, the night t'was as dark as the blackest swan. As a swan, the sky carried grace it its movements, it's stars gliding across their canvas.
 The stars are free to travel wherever they want in the universe, yet they chose to stay and glide around this planet. They are not bound to the chains of a world, of a life. I cannot understand why they chose to just watch when they could leave? If I broke through my chains like they did, I'd fly far away from this unforgiving place and never look back. But I am unable.
