When Dei fled the mainland in search of solace, they didn't think their past would follow them.
Now they're both on Cacovenetus, and when a third player enters the game, everything starts to get worse.
CW: depictions of violence, what I classify as light gore but other people have said was quite intense, implied sexual assault, ooh fun murder, feeding the chickens, inaccurate depictions of PTSD, an anxiety attack modeled after my own, knives, broken clavicles, and oh I forgot cannibalism.

*This series features dragons from the mobile game DragonVale. I do not claim ownership of the dragons or designs, only the individual personalities and created lore, which majorly diverges from the canon DragonVale lore.* *Potential gore warning for some of these stories. There are some graphic scenes of violence in "Skytooth" , "Dougal" , "Fiona" , "Photon" , and "Jolt" * This is a series of short stories spun-off from my graphic novel series: From the Void, In the Void, and To the Void. This trilogy documented the journey of two groups of dragons from a dimension known simply as the Void. After a massive famine, this world falls into chaos, giving rise to a pack of cannibals that systematically ends the population. This group is known as the Voidian Raiders. Over the course of the three series, we meet a band of survivors that ultimately defeats the raiders and, later on, teams up with them to save the dying Void. This culminates in the remaining Voidian population settling an island in the Dragon Universe, starting over from scratch. Tales From the Void is a series of side stories, documenting the journeys of other Voidians and their struggles in background of these events. Some directly intersect with the events of the Void series, some only connect losely, and some are connected to entirely other storylines in my vast Dragon Universe continuity. Differences Upon Us
Warning: gore, suicide, violence, sicken things, cannibalism, language, preferably 18+ This story is about these few lives turned sideways and finding out the secrets behind it all. . . . It takes a deepening in everyone's past to unlock the truth beneath everything. These 8 people are connected for some odd reason. They happen to meet during the break out of the laboratory located in the heavy forest. No person has the nerve to step foot in the forest, a myth of an 18 ft tall creature roams around; no one has a clue what the creature does or clearly looks like. Scientists study human nature mixed with animal structures to make humans more fit in survival in this world. These 8 people discover a trail of unknown secrets that may reflect on why they exist and what the scientists are doing.

This story is inspired by ancient China and doesn't have a specific time period it plays out in (remember that it's a fantasy world and not meant to be 100% history accurate, it's a world I made not a documentary lol) and all characters are my own and I do not allow for them to be used (fanart or fanfics are okay as long as you give credit!), I cannot say more than that without spoiling everything! but if you enjoy reading Danmei you will surely love this! I am actively working on getting my drawings in the chapters! and I use modern (not American) time and measurement increments so that nobody has to go and google it just to keep reading lol A GENERAL TW: there is gore, SA, torture, just in general gruesome stuff but it's all part of the story line and things WILL get better, there is both a ton of hurt and a ton of comfort so do not worry! If you read this I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
The Gory Details (Gross)
Between 2004 and 2008 I wrote a series of "Tips for Writers" for Nocturnal Ooze magazine vaguely about what would happen in real life if you did the things they do in movies but mostly about the gross out. I've always loved them and so have taken them out of mothballs for a new audience here on wattpad. They're all here except for #13 which seems to have vanished. I've also left them mostly intact except for a few very dated references that have been updated.
