"It's been years since Hannah last spoke to the person with whom she had formed a strong friendship before entering college. She can't help but wonder about him - what he's doing and how life would have turned out if they were still close. A smile creeps up as she reminisces about their memories together.

Hannah feels a subtle yet gnawing sense of emptiness, as if something is Amiss. She had been thinking about him and how her flaws, unguided insecurities, fear of attachment and her unyielding attitude towards conflicts had created a lack of emotional intimacy. Her struggle with communication had led to misunderstandings, ultimately pushing him away.

She tries to brush it off as mere nostalgia, but the feeling persists, a constant reminder that something is amiss. Should she reach out? *Her stubborn personality abruptly interrupts her thoughts and take over."I don't miss or care about him," she says, trying to sound convincing despite her inner turmoil.

In frustration, she screams into her pillow, "I have more pressing tribulations in my life right now than this!"
