You moved to Gravity Falls to continue your research in biology after college. While there you meet Ford and form a complicated relationship with each other. After communication from the shack goes quiet you make an effort to check on him just to discover his twin brother in his house instead of him. As you two work together to bring back Ford a strong bond and a surprising romance begins to form.
(Slight Lime warning for some parts but I'll try to put warnings incase that isn't your thing)

Hurt and alone, Dipper gets a visit from Bill in his dreams. The demon offers him an offer that he has trouble refusing: magic. And so Dipper begins to learn the true secrets of magic with the help of Bill, someone who once was an enemy to him. Dipper and Mabel left until next summer. Soos took over the mystery shack for the off season. Stan and Ford left on a boat trip, but something is wrong. Naturally Stan is a little strange since his memory was erased, but isn't it strange he got it back? Almost as if his mind wasn't completely destroyed.
