Rain and lightning were always seen as pairs. The water comes first, and then the lightning accompanies it. Yet, despite them being a pair, it seemed as if the two fought for its independence.

The water, vast and adaptable, roared with its own strength. Knocking down everything when it's cold and harsh, but when calmed, its serenity brought peace and calmness. Only breaking once something touches through.

Lightning, bright and fast, had its own shine. Always stealing the spotlight when it was its turn. Gaining attention from everything as it strikes down the earth. Nothing more than something to be feared, to hide yourself from once it comes down from the sky.
