The Pact of Shadows is a story about two strangers, Chloe and Dylan, who meet in the most unexpected way by crashing their cars into each other on a dark, empty road in San Bernardino. Both of them are dealing with some serious baggage. Chloe is on the hunt for her missing sister, while Dylan is searching for his wife, who vanished without a trace. They reluctantly team up to follow clues, and as they dig deeper, weird things start happening. Shadows seem to move on their own, strange people keep showing up, and creepy legends about the nearby forest feel a little too real.
Their journey takes them from rundown motels to shady bars. Along the way, Chloe's sarcasm and Dylan's deadpan attitude create some much needed humor to cut through the tension. But with old secrets coming to light and sinister forces closing in, Chloe and Dylan have to face their pasts and learn to trust each other if they want to make it out alive.
