Thabitha Rogers is a journalist. Hector Darling is the media-shy author she corners at a supermarket one day and begs to come to her show to discuss his bestselling book. Realising just how big this is for her, seeing as how this is Hector's first interview, the young journalist pushes him to answer his fans' burning questions. One, two, three questions laters, the studio is left aghast when the author bursts out into tears. Everyone is shocked. This is TV. This is award-winning stuff. A few days after the episode was recorded, the night of its flight, the world finds out that Hector Darling has died from suicide. When the episode airs, they get an idea why.
