Crème, an innocent gardener, takes up a journey to travel North from Florida alongside Sangre, an aggressive and seasoned outlaw. They must maneuver around the "Outlands" of the East Coast, attempting to reach South Carolina, a safe haven.

Castle Rock. A formidable laboratory housing monsters, unwilling subjects and other supernatural entities stationed deep beneath the ice of a tundra in an unknown region of a fragmented world. The place of nightmares that very few know of, the place of cruel and inhumane tests conducted on the innocent. Castle Rock at [DATA EXPUNGED], has experienced a site-wide destabilization due to the intense polar storm that currently is decimating the tundra. These storms are known to be dangerous for a plethora of reasons throughout the world. The Facility and all of it's holding cells & security stations deactivated and disabled due to the storm. Releasing everything without supervision. Hence, this phenomenon being called "Destabilization". Now, Monsters and deviants alike set free to roam. Some take matters into their own hands to escape. (Y/N) is a subject within the bowels of the facility, among the few who have the will to survive. Though, with little knowledge of their own past and current situation, (Y/N) finds some friends along the way. All hoping to find an escape. This story is a little gay, just a little. Hope you enjoy reading, give me any and all feedback The story will randomly transition between reader POV and (Y/N) POV at times. It's subtle, so pay attention. Croc knows how to survive. But when he breaks Pappy's number one rule, Croc finds himself lost in a world unlike anything he could ever imagine. Clues from his past resurface as if Pappy is reaching out from beyond the grave, and Croc grows desperate to learn more. But when death comes knocking, he's thrown into a fight for more than just survival. The Greater Good is killing the mother, and he can't help but feel like his whole life was leading him to this moment. To save her. Fern knows how to survive. That's all she's done since her family was killed for hiding refugees, forcing her to flee their farm and enter a life of solitude in the woods. Until a routine hunt goes haywire in the form of a talking bear and a giant named Tex. When Tex sees Fern's abilities at survivalism, he knows he needs her knowledge. He wants her help, not just for the people in his camp, but with the army he's building, and the government he wants to overthrow. Fern will have to make a choice. Follow in her daddy's footsteps and risk another loss, or return to her life of loneliness and let the world fall down around her.
