Scarred

Within the borders of a small village, Magorus, it's people lay hidden from the cruel kingdoms of the outside world. A longstanding magical border seperates the lush village of Magorus from the dark, dead, forest surrounding it, keeping all magic and creatures from entering. But when Nahla, a pale little girl with grey hair and eyes matching those of the beasts they stay tucked away from, is born into this community of tan, dark haired people, she immediately becomes an outcast. The night she is born a creature passes through their thus far unbreakable border.
18 years later, creatures and magic continue to somehow seep through the cracks of the border that Nahla's birth seemed to bring upon their village. And when a strange foreigner with the same scars as Nahla of lightning, comes running into their hidden village, the start of Nahla's unanswerable existence becomes a journey of a long and bitter, impossible fight through kingdoms, powers and burning romance.
