After Adam was killed by Blake & Yang, his spirit was instead of being sent to Hell for the many crimes he's committed, it was sent to a dimension where he met the first Decepticon, Megatronus (aka: The Fallen)...who gave Adam a chance at being resurrected, not as a faunas, but as a Cybertronian.

After Adam was reborn as a Cybertronian, he found himself locked in a stasis pod and was released by a Decepticon recon squadron led by BlitzWing.
