Madalynn and Erwin Smith have a intense hatred for each other and always have. Madalynn never forgot what he did when he caught them in the underground. She put everything on the line in hopes for a better life her friends lives, her husband and daughter lives, and her own brother. But all she wanted was a happy ending. Joining the Scouts was the only was to get out of there. But none of them knew how cruel and heart breaking the world really was above them.
Little did they both know they shared the same selfish dream and wanted answers to the same question...how do you know there are not people outside of the walls?
