In the quiet shadows of a moonlit night, Whispers of memories drift in sight. A heart once whole now feels the ache, Of love once given, now to break.

Eyes that once sparkled with endless dreams, Now hold rivers of silent screams. Laughter that echoed through the hall, Replaced by silence, a mournful call.

In the corners where joy used to stay, Loneliness lingers, casting gray. A soul that wandered free and wide, Now finds solace, deep inside.

Time may heal, or so they say, But some scars never fade away. In the garden of what used to be, Grows a sorrow, wild and free.
