It's been 2000 years since the death of Eren Yeager and the rest of The original Heroes of Shiganshina. Towers were built and knocked down again on Paradis Island by other nations, there was still stuff that was left behind. Along with the spirit of Eren Yeager. 

A boy named Lucas travels throughout his home and comes across a strange tree, but that is before he realized a strange bird had been following him. 

As Eren watched the boy he felt a strange connection, he was shocked to find out that Lucas was a descendant of Mikasa. Even if he was a bird now, he still found a way to communicate with him, although if he couldn't talk to him he comforted the boy the best he could on his journey throughout Paradis, learning a lot from Lucas and how the world was now.
