In the magical and mysterious city of Hikarimachi, a young boy named Shan possesses a unique ability: his magical eye allows him to copy almost any combat style, spell, or technique. Known as "The Copier," Shan is sent to the prestigious Academy of Combat, where children with special abilities are trained to become exceptional fighters.

At the academy, Shan befriends Zed and Akali, each with their own unique powers. Zed, the master of shadow clones and teleportation, hides behind his assassin's mask, which covers the scars from a heroic sacrifice to save a child from fire-wielding bullies. Akali, struggling to control her powers after her mother's death at the hands of a demon named Jhin, gains supernatural abilities from her glowing green tattoos, enabling her to become invisible and wield deadly weapons.
