In today's world, the belief in magic and fairies is at an all-time low with technology advancing is killing that belief. Whenever a baby laughs for the first time, a fairy is born but when belief dies, so do fairies. It started with most of the males since they needed more to survive and very few lived to the point that they stopped birthing new fairies with Pixie Dust. Instead, they used it as a form of life support. Even Neverland was losing its magic and dying.

Everyone knew it was only a matter of time before that wasn't even enough and they all die out. Leaving nobody to tend to the seasons causing massive damage to the world. The fairy council held a meeting to pitch ideas to make children believe again. There was one option that was in the back of their minds but they dare not speak it... Kidnapping a child and this idea was also pitched by some of the fairies consumed by fear and desperation to live. Queen Clarion doesn't want to do it but is there any other way?
