Y/n knew something was off ever since the atlas military (from RWBY) open the Asylum and he wanted to know what it was. But once he got to the Asylum, he was shocked to see some horrid events that were waiting for him (I do not own outlast, or any of the cartoons and anime characters)

However, you don't have to know much about the game to jump in. This story follows an independent journalist named Miles Upshur who received an email from a whistleblower, Waylon Park, who worked at Murkoff Psychiatric Systems: Mount Massive. The hospital was supposed to be run as a charity, offering help to those who could not pay, or for those who other hospitals wouldn't accept. However, things weren't as they seemed and Murkoff was using the hospital as a cover for a laboratory where they were performing experiments on humans. The end result of such experiments was the creation of Project Walrider, a bio-nanite parasite that lives inside a human body. Miles stumbles into the facility during a security breach and riot. He manages to survive the night but in doing so becomes infected with the nanites, becoming the new host for Project Walrider. The Aftermath of Mount Massive is about Miles coming to terms with what being the Host means for both his humanity and future. The detective is assigned with a new partner a forensics scientist becoming to an officer but when they go on there first case everything go's darker and down hill. They find themselves finding out too much about the people they work with and catch themselves in the apocalypse/ blackout. A new organization terroists group hunts them down in the apocalypse and they find familiar faces.
