Her performance touched Semyon, her father's brother in arms, with whom he fought in the 18th Guards Motor Rifle Regiment. This leads to Semyon re-living the events of the battle of Cork. The story is set in the universe of George Orwell's "1984"

The famous singer/songwriter, Elena Matthews, is forced to take a one year leave from her career when her sister's previous school shuts down.
