Natalie Windlock is a girl with nobody to by her side. Not anymore at least. Her parents divorced, her mother disappeared, her father remarried a wretched woman with 2 horrible daughters, and her father was poisoned. She is now living with her 3 step family members and she hates it. Once she started school at Winchester High, her step sisters were the first to start the hatred. She cried and weeped at the tragic memory of her fathers poisoned death. Now she has been consumed by shadows. But then a group of new kids arrive and they are different from any other student at the school. By different I mean DIFFERENT! (still don't get it? you'll see) Then, when her step sisters start something with her again, one specific boy from the group, takes her side along with the group. Has she finally found some friends?
