Magnolia is freshly graduated with a Bachelor's degree and gets a job with the DNR right after graduation in June. She is assigned to an almost abandoned outpost in the middle of the forest-covered mountainside of Montana. It seems like no one has worked in the outpost in over 25 years! Not to worry, Maggie has already interned with the government before in Florida and knows what to expect from the job. What she was not expecting was a local wolf pack living nearby the outpost. One of the wolves seems to be pretty confused by her chemically covered scent. After Maggie spends the entire summer fixing up the outpost, the wolves get to know her strange scent and know they cannot touch the human government's employees even if the outpost is barely on their pack lands. When August comes, a certain alpha wolf is determined to find the amazing smell coming from the local graduate school where Maggie is getting her Master's degree on the side of her job with the DNR. Will the wolf scent Maggie's true scent before or after she turns 21?
