What does love entail? What does love feel like? Tara leaves her life behind in California to pursue her dream - Fine Arts. Ever since a child, she has dreamt of painting and illustrating for a living. When her parents deemed her fit enough to not destroy electronics, they gifted her a Wacom. She has been unstoppable since. Fantasy. Surrealism. Impressionist. She has tried every art form. Albeit not the best, they all had one thing in common - someone in love. Growing up, she has seen her parents drift apart, and she didn't want that. She wanted something fiery and passionate, yet providing her with stability and security. She believed she'd never find it. She was 18 and she hadn't even shared her first kiss! This was all going to change, soon.

In her thirties, she walked away from a life that felt like it was closing in-leaving behind the familiar streets of Europe, a routine love, and the safety of everything she knew. Drawn by the promise of something greater, something electric, she chose New York. A city of endless lights, endless possibilities, and endless illusions. But instead of finding herself, she found emptiness. Nights blurred into fleeting encounters, brief touches that never lingered, and hollow moments disguised as connection. Beneath the vibrant pulse of the city, she felt nothing. No love, no fire, no sense of belonging-just a growing void. These are her chronicles-a raw and intimate journey of a woman lost between who she was and who she thought she could become. It's a story of longing, of chasing meaning in a world that offers only illusions, and of coming to terms with a brutal truth: sometimes, before you can find yourself, you have to confront the emptiness inside.
