An Undecided Fate
Alexander and Cassandra, a newly wedded couple, don't seem to get their ways with each other. Alexander is a soldier who fights in the US Army for the North. He's devoted to his job than any other soldier in America. Yet he can be quite arrogant and intimidating at times - actually, most of the time. Cassandra is a kind and innocent woman who does domestic services at their home. Just as much as her husband is devoted to the army, she is devoted to him. Unfortunately, she doesn't get any appreciation for it and is always neglected by him. It was 1860, and the preparations for the upcoming battles have started (the ones that are part of what we call today, the Civil War), which also meant that it was time for Alexander to leave Cassandra for some while. They didn't quite have a mended relationship by the time he left for the battles, and they have been thinking that this was how it was going to remain. But fate had other plans for them.Complete

desc changed sun, 5/4/25 ____ Through the agonizing cries he created, whilst seeing the living land crumble at someone else's fingertips.. America was to blame. To blame for the death of his mother, Native America. To blame for the American Revolution. To blame for something that was not his fault, the reason that the revolution happened in the first place. A buildup of emotion and sentiment. The start and the end of the symbolism on the 4th of July. What America saw as a triumph, a cause for his mother's happiness; would quickly turn into agony, the very same day. On July 4th, when independence was technically declared, freedom was bound to be free from its enlistment. Only for America to find his mother dead, and his 13 children gone. His twin brother, Confederate, missing. In which he would later collapse at the news that Confederate allied with the murderer of their mother, Great Britania. ... April 12th, 1861. America was at war. He was at war with someone who could never care to become real, to become truth. Bullshit. Everything in that person was lies. America's greatest conflict. The Civil War. 1861-1865. Brother against brother, father against son. Elizabeth Hawkins is only 19 when war breaks out. She must make the biggest decision in her short life: Does she join her brother and nurse those in need, or does she live comfortably in the peace of her own home? Note: The battles and commanders are real events and people. I tried to be as accurate as possible with events of battles. Other than those, this is a completely original story. Also, the picture above is an illustration of the attack on Fort Sumter April 12, 1861; beginning of one of the bloodiest wars in American history, if not the bloodiest.
