Two Trackerwing siblings must find a way to keep themselves hidden and regrow their marvelous tribe. Will they succeed and live with the other dragons in peace? Faced with a war-torn world and uncertainty everywhere he turns, Ghost wonders if he is cut out for the mission his Alate has in store for him. Until now, he has never had a choice. Now that he does, he isn't sure which option to take. Which one he wants. But it isn't Atta who inspires him to act. It's a young AntWing with vengeance on her mind, a dragon he used to detest because she was a better version of him: angry and with a lot to prove, but with the wherewithal to act. He follows her because that is what he is supposed to do - follow and light the way. It was his sister, Lightningtail. She was shaking his shoulder. He also heard roaring in the background, which alarmed him. "Thunderclap! Hurry! Something's happening!" He sprang out of the nest as if it were on fire. One of the echoes sounded eerily familiar; Thunderclap knew the dragon that was growling and hissing in pain. "Do you know who it is?" he asked, running shoulder-to-shoulder with his sister. "No, but it sounds like..." Lightningtail said as they drew near the crowd. Hybrid dragons were once despised due to there heritage of two different types of dragons. Not only were they disowned, but there parents as well. Now that the war is over hybrids are beginning to become more accepted, but one in particular searches for his parents. He hopes to find answers of his past and find out something more. Hawker is a normal Hivewing in cicada hive. He has his life as a soldier, and always, ALWAYS, follows the rules. That was until he met the most beautiful dragon he had ever seen. One problem. She was a Silkwing. Please just stick with it until chapter 10. The first 10 chapters aren't very good, but it gets better as you keep reading. Wings of Fire story! My name is Moon. I live in a world where everyone is tested. From the age sixteen to eighteen. In truth, you test yourself everyday the moment you find out what the world has come to. You test youself wondering if you're strong enough, smart enough, or brave enough. But most of all to see if you will do the right thing in the darkest times. Your eighteenth birthday is the biggest day of your life. The day you find out if you will fight, or die. Fear engulfs your body every waking moment, the very thought of death makes people lose hope, and it almost did for me too. And in those final moments, when you really don't know if you will live, you wonder, is dying now worse than living in something you hate so much. Do I live for something I despise? Dragon aging is different in this series- ages up to 8 are dragonet, 9 to 12 is teenager, 12 to 20 is young adult, 20+ is adult. This excuses any questions about aging. It had been eleven years since Crab had died. And Jellyfish missed him. Her brother was the only reason she was alive, and it felt as though it was her fault that he was dead. Life was awful now. Every dragon had a target on their back, and going up to the surface was quite a dangerous task. The remaining dragons of Pyrrhia have waged war on each other, each believing that they had the right solution to fix everything. But in Jellyfish's eyes, it was all so, so wrong. But as bad as it is, Jellyfish has a mostly normal teenage life. Friends to hang out and laugh with, school to keep her occupied, and the constant desire to love and go to parties. It really couldn't get worse, right? It did, though. Danger and hatred swoop in on two wings into Jellyfish's life, and it will never, ever be the same. Plus a really creepy prophecy. We love those.
