I wasn't supposed to be at that stupid wedding, and I definitely wasn't supposed to drunkenly kiss University of Michigan's star hockey player, but I did, and now here I am.
I can't shake him off of me. Not when I snap at him, not when I ignore him, and never when I give into the delusion that he would actually be a good quality boyfriend.
I mean how could he? Every girl on campus could vouch for me that he was the biggest player in the school.
So why has he stuck to me?
He's trying to break down my walls, make me vulnerable, but it won't happen. I know the consequences of letting people in, and after nineteen years on this planet I'm not down to face them.

Did I expect to find Daisy Dean, professional pessimist, to crash my brother's wedding?

Am I glad she did?
Fuck yeah.
After that world shattering kiss I'm determined to make her mine. But with all the walls she has put up it will be hard.
Good thing I'm a winner and winners never quit. By the end of the semester she'll be mine. I don't care what it takes.
I will ruin her, break her stone cold walls, and never allow her to put them back up.
