Five years too long

The great Maxie could handle setbacks. It was because of the new champion May or something that he had failed to awake Groundon five years ago. Archie had succeeded in awakening the whale known as Kyorge, but had been stopped at the same time. Nothing surprising since Maxie himself had been defeated by May as well, and Archie was an idiot.
Now Maxie is back... and can't seem to understand why none of Team Magma is listening, Cortney took over and she was as loyal as could be. Where Tabitha went is beyond him.
Now he's been arrested and put to live with his former Arch-nemesis Archibald on some lighthouse in the middle of Nowhere, Hoenn. Seriously the nearest town five hours north east wasn't even on the map was named Nowhere. This couldn't get any worse.
