Joseph Espina had always been the quiet, unassuming type. With his thick glasses and an insatiable curiosity for all things scientific, especially biology, he was often found in the school library , engrossed in his studies. His passion for learning was unparalleled, but it also made him a target for ridicule among his peers. Rouxie, on the other hand, was everything Joseph was not. She was the high school campus queen-beautiful, popular, and always surrounded by a group of admirers. Her laughter echoed through the hallways like a melody that everyone wanted to be a part of. But Rouxie had her own standards when it came to choosing friends and potential suitors. She gravitated towards those who matched her social status and charisma. Joseph's heart skipped a beat every time he saw Rouxie. He admired her from afar, knowing that someone like him could never catch her eye. His feelings were genuine and deep-rooted, but they were also a well-guarded secret. Rouxie barely acknowledged his existence; to her, Joseph was just another face in the crowd-insignificant and easily overlooked. Rouxie's attention was instead captured by Angelo, the school's star athlete and notorious bully. Angelo embodied everything that Joseph despised: arrogance, cruelty, and a penchant for making others feel small. Yet Rouxie seemed enchanted by him, drawn to his confidence and physical prowess. Angelo's group of friends were no different; they thrived on tormenting those they deemed weaker or less important. Kent was one of their frequent targets-a fellow student who shared Joseph's love for academics but lacked his resilience against bullying. The constant harassment took its toll on Kent until one day something inside him snapped. Kent decided he had endured enough humiliation at the hands of Angelo and his cronies. Fueled by anger and a desire for retribution, he began to plot his revenge meticulously.
