Sherlock looked down at the girl in his arms. "Can't say that I have. Why?"
"I don't know. Just curious. Do you think we would've been friends? Maybe we would've never gotten together," Phoebe wondered aloud as she closed her eyes.
"You're imagination is too wild sometimes," Sherlock mumbled before he pressed his lips to her forehead. "Just try and get some rest."

"Hey, Sherlock. What do you think it would've been like if we were born in the future. You know, in a century or two?" Phoebe asked as she sat beside Sherlock at the dinner table as they waited for everyone else to be seated.
"That's what you're thinking about? Girls are weird," the nine year old mumbled as he crossed his arms.
"I'm just saying. Maybe you would've actually wanted me as a friend," Phoebe suggested.
Sherlock scoffed. "Yeah, like that would ever happen. I think even future me would know that friends are pointless."
"Whatever you say, Sherly," Phoebe replied as she looked away from him.
"Don't call me Sherly!"
