Link hesitates, as usual. He carefully crafts his words, tasting them on his tongue, which is why you almost choke when he eventually spits them out.

"Will you follow me?"

The words feel more intimate than an embrace, more than an 'I love you.' They're an invitation, A proposal. You don't even hesitate in your response.

"To the end of time." You swallow. "To the end of the Earth."

His eyes widen, lips parting like he almost doesn't know what to say, but he does, high-pitched and breathless.

"You're crazy."

"Crazier than you? I highly doubt that."
